In order to reduce the loss caused by tail gas emissions, combined with the characteristics of the methanol plant production process, the plant has built a recycling facility that operates at full capacity, thus reducing the amount of low-pressure methane, fuel gas, and analytical gas that the ethylene plant emits to the flare each year by approximately 39.9 million cubic meters. The meter, meanwhile, can reduce about 4.62 million cubic meters of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

The Dushanzi Petrochemical Company's ethylene plant recycles waste gas such as excess low-pressure methane, analytical gas, and carbon dioxide to the methanol plant as raw material, so that the raw materials used for methanol plant production are all recycled exhaust gas.
