Characteristics of the oil brake: Long stopping distance of the brake, slow response, but simple structure, easy maintenance, and low price

Oil brakes are mainly used on small trucks and motorcycles, but now there is a general trend for air brakes, and some small trucks are also equipped with air brakes. The main reason is the customer's demand for brake safety of trucks

Air brake features: Short braking distance, fast response, complex structure, high maintenance cost, high purchase cost

Air brakes and air brakes are used on heavy-duty trucks such as medium and large trucks, passenger cars, semi-trailers and concrete mixers.

Air brakes are quite different from ordinary air brakes and they have advantages. On a large, heavy-duty wrecker if optional common air brakes, then it would seem a bit "powerless." The difference between an air brake and an ordinary air brake is as follows:

1. There is a fundamental difference in parking brakes. The air-braked brake is a stored energy spring air brake, which is a power type, while the ordinary air brake is a central disc brake, which is a human type. The energy supply devices of the two are completely different.

2. The parking brake of ordinary air brake can only be used when the car is stationary, because the braking torque acts on the drive shaft. If it is used during driving, it can easily cause severe overload of the drive shaft and rear axle. It may also happen that the left and right wheels rotate in the opposite direction due to the differential case being locked, causing the car to misalign or even turn around during braking. However, the energy storage spring brake is not the same, on the contrary, because the parking brake stroke of the storage spring is longer than the service brake stroke, in the case that the brake force is insufficient, the storage spring can be used to assist emergency braking. Therefore, the energy storage spring brake can not only be used as a parking brake, but also can be used as an emergency brake. Therefore, the air brake system is superior to conventional air brakes in terms of brake stability and safety.

Way brake breathe mostly used in heavy type wrecker or other types of special vehicles embodiment handbrake system. The handbrake system of this kind of car usually uses the strong spring in the normal braking state. When the vehicle is to be driven, the driver loose handbrake is a deflation action, must reach a certain air pressure to open the spring, which is the handle You can only drive if you lose it.

DIN Flange

Across the pond, you will find the Deutsches Institute fur Normung (DIN) flange specification, consisting of a variety of European styles which have been unified into one code for the purpose of commonality. Designation as a DIN flange by the German Institute of Standardization assures the user of design quality the way an ASME flange would here in America. Although much less common than ANSI/ASME steel flanges in the United States, many of our international customers request flanges to these specifications for a variety of applications such as imported steel vessels, cargo ships, and other infrastructure which may consist of metric pipes/valves and European designed equipment.

The subset flanges under the DIN standard consist of the same style of flanges in the United States, including the most commonly used slip on flanges, weld neck, flanges, and blind flanges. Adapter flanges can be custom made to end user requirements for the mating of American flanges to international ones, however we find it is a much more common and easy solution to provide DIN flanges to mate to existing equipment.

The most common metric type flanges fall under the following categories:

DIN 2501 through 2503 for flat ring flanges

DIN 2512 through 2519 for alternate face flanges

DIN 2627 through 2633 for weld neck flanges

DIN 2641 through 2642 for lap joint flanges

DIN 2565 through 2569 for threaded/companion flanges

DIN 2527 for blind flanges
