China urgently needs to perfect tire technical standards

Ding Yuhua believes that for key performance indicators such as tire fuel efficiency, rolling noise, and road grip, domestic certification should be conducted through a strict standard mechanism to guide market consumption.

At the same time, he recommended higher standards for car companies to use tires, and promote the use of safer, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly tire products.

"The forced implementation of the tire labeling system by national legislation has become an urgent task," stressed Ding Yuhua.

He said that under this premise, the tire recall and consumer protection system should be promoted based on the traceability of single tires.
