Cummins ' Cummins Emissions Processing System announced on November 8, 2011 that the new EcoFitTM Cummins urea injection system has entered the advanced development stage. The product innovation of this post-processing technology is tailored to meet the new emission regulations to be implemented in China, India and Russia. The new EcoFitTM Cummins urea injection system was officially unveiled at a customer appreciation event in Beijing. Nearly 100 customers attended the event.
The Cummins Emissions Processing System is also officially launching the EcoFitTM brand, which will serve as a common identifier for Cummins emission treatment systems for post-processing products and solutions in all markets worldwide. EcoFitTM means that Cummins utilizes innovative technologies to provide tailor-made clean emission solutions for different engine and application needs.

The EcoFitTM Cummins urea injection system was developed by Cummins emission treatment systems for light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles. Relying on Cummins' technological advantages and innovative methods of post-processing solutions, the EcoFitTM Cummins urea injection system can be perfectly matched to existing engines and aftertreatment systems, while improving the system's tough durability and fuel economy.
Localization support
The EcoFit Cummins urea injection system will be manufactured at the Cummins Emissions Processing System in Beijing and will be backed by a global technical team. A large part of the team's personnel are based in Beijing.

EcoFitTM Cummins Urea Injection System Provides Better Fuel Economy and Smaller Package Sizes
The EcoFitTM Cummins urea injection system is a reductant delivery system that injects a 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water solution, also known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid or AdBlueTM , into the exhaust. The TM Cummins Urea Injection System greatly enhances the integration of the entire system through the existing Selective Catalytic Reduction system, and enables customers to adjust the engine to improve its performance by increasing the conversion efficiency of nitrogen oxides (Oxides of Nitrogen). Fuel economy, or reducing the size of conventional selective catalytic reduction systems. Cummins in China
The history of Cummings and China dates back more than half a century to the 1940s. On March 11, 1941, the President of the United States, Franklin Roosevelt, signed the Lease Act to provide wartime assistance to 38 countries, including China. At the end of 1944, a Chongqing company sent a letter to Cummins Corp. seeking to establish commercial ties and conduct localized production of Cummins engines in China.
