Hannan District of Wuhan City was awarded the “China Auto Parts Manufacturing Base†by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. This is the first state-level auto parts manufacturing base in Central China. However, the auto parts industry in Wuhan lags behind. According to the international standards for industrial layout, the ratio of output of completed vehicles and parts should be 1:1.7. At present, the ratio in Wuhan is only 1:0.4.
With the construction of the national auto parts industry base, Hannan District, Wuhan City is building a 45 square kilometer domestic first-class automobile and parts industry new city, focusing on the development of automotive molds, automobile and parts trading, special vehicles and other special industries.
