Due to defects in some vehicle fuel pumps, Nissan Motor and BMW Group will carry out recalls around the world, recalling a total of about 165,000 vehicles.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) document, the nickel plating on the fuel pump of the recalled vehicle may fall off and get stuck in the fuel pump, causing the vehicle to fail to start or turn off in the middle, and the flameout may increase the risk of collision.

Nissan said it had received a case in which Rogue (North American version of the Qijun) car could not be started in March 2014, and in July last year, BMW also found an increase in the number of warranty claims for fuel pump failure.

Among the two car companies, Nissan recalled a large number of cars, about 95.03 million (mainly sold in the United States and Canada), involving the 2014 North American version of the RogueSUV.

BMW recalled a total of 70,500 vehicles (including 18,054 in the United States), including the 2014 228iCoupe, M235iCoupe, 320i, 320xi, 328i, 328xi, 335i, 335xi, ActiveHybrid3, 328xiSportsWagon, 428iCoupe, 428xiCoupe, 435iCoupe, 435xiCoupe, 428iConvertible (hooded version), 428xiConvertible, 435iConvertible, 328xiGranTurismo, 335xiGranTurismo, and 2015 428iGranCoupe, 428xiGranCoupe, and 435iGranCoupe.
