1, hardware failure

If the error is too large, the integrator displays no light or no increment, the display is blank, etc. The reason is:

a. Installation is not standardized, can directly lead to zero drift flowmeter, such as the mass flowmeter installed near the pump outlet, the sensor support strength is not enough, improper welding of the connection flange to generate stress signals, the cable is subject to electromagnetic interference.

b. Wiring problem If the monitor does not light up, check the connection of the integrator power supply. If the fuse is burned, confirm that the input voltage and the standard voltage are in the same nominal value. If the totalizer does not increase with the flow rate, the integrator wiring should be checked. If the integrator is equipped with a positive/reverse program, check the flowmeter wiring. Because the flowmeter is incorrectly wired, the integrator will be in reverse. Do not increment when streaming.

c. Change of process media If the measurement medium experiences gas, gasification, or two-phase flow, the transmitter will display an alarm. In severe cases, the sensor will stop working.

d. Transmitter failure.

e. Sensor failure.

f. Pipe purge problem.

2, software issues
For the just-checked flow meter installation must pay attention to the zero calibration in the current operating conditions before use, must ensure that the flow meter is full of media, after closing the two ends of the closing valve can be zero calibration, there are many specific methods, panel operation , Communicator and using ProLink II software.

a. Zero calibration error.
