In the case of circular runout, where the difference between the two data is relatively large, it belongs to the steel ring problem, and the steel ring should be exchanged; the difference in data is not large, and the dynamization drum is generally out of round, and the brake drum or drum must be replaced. When no problem is found in the above inspections, check the suspension system for any problems. When the vehicle is normally loaded, the suspension arm should be substantially level. Due to the difference in the height of the tractor, the suspension system does not match the main vehicle, the axle load on the axle is not uniform, and the axle with small force is easy to lock when braking, because the brake drum is somewhat out of round during use. Therefore, there is a relatively high chance of being locked at a certain point, resulting in fixed-point wear. In this case, you should find a vehicle factory for inspection and adjustment.
2. Zigzag wear refers to the wavy wear of the tire's shoulder area. The reason for this is that when the vehicle is running, there is a certain angle between the direction in which the tire is moving and the direction in which the vehicle is traveling, and if the tire is to remain in line with the direction of travel of the vehicle, it is necessary to continuously correct the direction. If the front axle of the trailer has this problem, it means that the isosceles triangle is not formed at both ends of the axle and the midpoint of the traction pin, that is, the axis of the trailer is not perpendicular to the axis of the axle; if there is no abnormality of the front axle, the rear axle is abnormal It indicates that the rear axle and the front axle have different wheelbases and need to be re-adjusted to within 2mm (note that when checking, the vehicle should stop on a flat ground and the vehicle should move back and forth several times in the straight direction). To check whether the U-bolt is loose, whether the tension rod rubber sleeve is damaged. If the vehicle is running and there is a tail flick phenomenon, the position where the traction pin is installed may not be on the axis of the trailer, and it needs to be checked and adjusted by the vehicle factory.
In addition, if there is a serious situation on both sides of the tire, it means that the axle is not fixed properly, that is, the rubber sleeve of the tension rod is worn or the U-shaped bolt is loose. After the vehicle turns left or right, the two sides of the tire are ground separately. In addition, bearing clearance is too large, this type of wear will occur.
3. Abrasive wear of the crown/teeth of the shoulder tread (capping wear) is due to long-term high tire pressure, excessively wide tire tread, too narrow rim, and severe wear on both sides of the tread (feet wear). Because tire pressure is low for a long time, the tire tread is too narrow, and the rim is too wide. For this type of problem, the tire pressure should be checked frequently and the appropriate steel ring should be selected.
