China Drying Network News Ministry of Commerce announced on the 24th that the Pakistani Tariff Commission (NTC) issued an announcement that the committee made a preliminary decision on the anti-dumping investigation of Bixially Oriented Poly Propylene film (BOPP) imported from China, and decided to On August 14th, 2012, four months of provisional anti-dumping duties will be levied on products involving China, Saudi Arabia, Oman and UAE. Among them, the anti-dumping tariff rate applicable to exporters from mainland China is 62.70%. NTC initiated an anti-dumping investigation against imported polypropylene film in September 2010. The above decision was taken by a Pakistani importer to the High Court of Islamabad in 2011. In March 2012, the court ordered the NTC to reapply the adequacy and accuracy of filing an anti-dumping application. After verification, the NTC decided to initiate the above investigation. According to the relevant provisions of the anti-dumping regulations of Pakistan, all interested parties can request NTC to disclose detailed information within 15 days after initial announcement, and can request a hearing within 30 days. The NTC will make a final ruling within 4 months from the date of the preliminary ruling.
