Hot water circulation pump: common faults and countermeasures

First, hot water circulation pump how to do?

1. The inlet and outlet valves of the hot water pump are not opened, the inlet and outlet pipes are blocked, and the abortive impeller is blocked. Solution, remove obstructions.

2. Insufficient water supply for the import and export, excessive suction, and leaking of the bottom valve. Shutdown inspection and adjustment (This phenomenon is likely to occur with grid-connected water pipes and suction lifts).

3. The pump is not filled with liquid and there is air in the pump chamber. Open the pump cover or open the exhaust valve to drain air.

4. Hot water circulation pump suction pipe leak. Tighten the sealing surfaces and remove the air.

5. The motor runs in the wrong direction and the motor lacks the phase speed very slowly. Adjust the motor direction and secure the motor wiring.

6. The pipeline resistance is too large and the centrifugal pump is improperly sized. Reduce the bend in the pipeline and reselect the pump.

Second, hot water circulation pump flow is insufficient?

1. The inlet and outlet valves of the hot water circulation pump are not opened, the inlet and outlet pipes are blocked, and the abortive impeller is blocked. Solution, remove obstructions.

2. The impeller of the pipeline and the hot water circulation pump is partially blocked, the scale deposits, and the opening degree of the valve is insufficient. Remove obstructions and readjust the valve opening.

3. Use more than rated flow. Adjust the flow to close the outlet valve.

4. Impeller wear. Replace the impeller.

5. The centrifugal pump voltage is low. Regulated.

6. Pump bearing wear. Replace the bearing.

7. The centrifugal pump suction is too high. Reduce suction.

3. Hot water circulation pump noise, vibration?

1. The liquid is mixed with gas to increase the suction pressure exhaust.

2. Generate cavitation and reduce vacuum.

3. The pipeline support is unstable and stabilizes the pipeline.

4 bearing damage, replace the bearing.

5. Motor overload heat operation, adjust the flow off the small outlet valve.

4. Hot water circulating pump motor heating how to do?

1. Hot water circulating pump flow is too large, overload operation, close the small outlet valve.

2. Hot water circulation pump motor bearing damage, replace the bearing.

3. Insufficient voltage, voltage regulation.
