Mr. Deng contacted the Nanning Xin Guangda Beijing Hyundai 4S shop of the car to negotiate, and the 4S shop supervisor informed him to go to the Jinhu Tiyu Tire shop that is 60 kilometers away for testing. When he was tested at the Kumho Tire Shop in Nanning, he was informed by Nanning Xin Guang Da 4S Store to go to Nanning Xin Guang Da 4S Store to retest. Mr. Deng ran more than 300 kilometers back and forth to carry out tire inspection and appraisal, but ultimately failed to return.

Afterwards, he was flickered to the Jin Ning Tire dealership. In Jin Ning Hunan Tire's dealership, the appraisers sloppyly observed the surface of the tire and reached the conclusion: The cord was broken due to improper use. The bulging of the joint was normal and did not affect the use. Then he produced a printed identification report and ticked “non-tire quality issues” as a confirmation. It is ridiculous that the appraisers did not even see the specifications of the tires. They filled 185 tires into 195/165/R15, and the entire appraisal process was very trifling.

The above case was found to have no serious consequences in time, but the following case is shocking.

In complaints about the quality of Kumho tyres, most of the car owners hope that the company can fulfill its social responsibilities and recall defective tyres. Many owners have thus launched their condemnation of Kumho tyres through various channels. What they are most hoped to see is that the state will introduce relevant laws and regulations as soon as possible and incorporate the recall mechanism into auto parts and components.
