In response to these problems, Guizhou Tire took timely measures to deal with it. In response to the "Tire Labeling Act," it specially purchased relevant testing equipment and established a rolling resistance laboratory; it aimed at Europe and the United States technical barriers to improve production formulas and production processes; Guizhou Tire also strives to open up markets in Southeast Asia and Africa, breaking its dependence on the European and American markets.

Thanks to all the above efforts, last year, Guizhou's tire exports hit a record high with 3,429 batches of exports and a value of 277 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 13.8% and 10.5% year-on-year, respectively. Among them, the value of exports in the fourth quarter was more than 70 million U.S. dollars. , set a new quarterly tire export high.

In view of the breakthrough in the fourth quarter of last year, market participants believe that the fourth quarter of each year is the traditional peak season for the export of tires from Guizhou. “The breakthrough in the fourth quarter of last year shows that the execution of foreign orders is higher.”

Due to the price reduction of bulk raw materials such as rubber, the export cost of Guizhou tire exporters dropped by 15%-20% year-on-year, and the export efficiency increased year-on-year.

It is also understood that in recent years, natural rubber has maintained a balance between supply and demand, with a slight surplus. Experts predict that natural rubber will oscillate around 25,000 yuan/ton this year. Natural rubber accounts for about 50% of tire manufacturing costs. The low price of natural rubber will greatly improve the profitability of tire companies. At the same time, since January 1 this year, China's import and export tariffs will be partially adjusted, and the specific import tariff of natural rubber will be reduced by 800 yuan/ton compared with 2012.
